What is mudlark’s scholarship policy?

Unconditional scholarships are available for all Mudlark programs. No young artist is ever turned away from a program for financial reasons and we will never ask why you are requesting a scholarship, or require proof that you need one.

While some families need 100% of the cost covered, many families are able to provide at least some of the registration fees. Thank you for understanding that every contribution helps Mudlark keep delivering our mission to as many young artists as possible.

How do i use scholarship?

When RegisterING for a program Held at mudlarK

Mudlark uses the Hi Sawyer registration system which now includes adding scholarship into one easy process. As of December 2024, you no longer need to use a separate scholarship registration link.

You will select your scholarship request after you have filled out all the necessary registration details. You'll find an option to enter a PROMO CODE when you scroll down.

Find the amount of scholarship you need and type in the corresponding code. The new price will calculate automatically.

For Example: If you choose to utilize a 50% scholarship, the scholarship percentage will be deducted from the total cost of every program in your cart. So please double check that you have correctly applied the code.

Note: Registrations fees will still apply to your purchase, unless you need to select a 100% Scholarship. 100% Scholarship requests do not incur any fees.

Each program offered by Mudlark Theater has its own unique scholarship promo code designated for use. Families can utilize these codes as often as they need for various programs throughout the year. To discover the specific promo codes associated with each program, please visit the dedicated program page on our website for further details.

when registering for an After-School Class HELD at your school

Scholarship methods vary depending on the registration system your specific school uses. You may need to request a scholarship from Right At School, your PTA, or your school administration.

However, the most important thing is that Mudlark’s unconditional scholarship policy remains true for all programming, including classes at your school. If you are unsure of how to request a scholarship at your school, or your school is denying you access to a scholarship, please email education@mudlarktheater.org and we will help.
